A minimum of 500 Pink-footed Geese flew north this morning. 37 Black-tailed Godwits arrived onFivepenny machair yesterday evening and departed early morning.
Carinish, North Uist
A Chiffchaff was singing this morning and a Swallow and Water Rail were also present. A Whimbrel, a 2 Little Tern, 5 Arctic Terns, 2 Common Terns, a Pink-footed Goose and 25 Pale-bellied Brent Geese were seen later on North Ford and a Willow Warbler was also singing in the township
