Butt of Lewis
4 Lapland Buntings were circa 500 yards west of the lighthouse at 09.00 3 Tree Sparrows were seen nearby in Ness
Stornoway, Isle of Lewis
4 Leach's Petrels were seen at sea from the diverted ferry from Uig
Lochmaddy, North Uist
4 Storm Petrels and a Great Skua were seen at sea from the Lochmaddy - Uig ferry this morning.
Ruhba Ardvule, South Uist
Counting period: 06:45 - 09:20
Weather: Wind S F3 increasing F4. 8/8 cloud, very dull with rain. Temp 11C.
A 2+ hour seawatch this morning produced 4 Red-throated Divers (S), 2 Fulmars (S), 78 Gannets (75S 3N), 4 Shags (N), 3 Kittiwakes (S), 1 Pomerine Skua [adult] (S), 7 Razorbills (S) and 2 auk sp (S).
Also present in the area were Red-throated Diver 2, Common Buzzard 1 and Snipe 34
