Butt of Lewis
1 dark phase Artic Skua , 3 Great Skua, 200+ Manx Shearwaters, 1 Sooty Shearwater, 15 Storm Petrels, and 3 Black-throated Divers passed south between 0900 - 1200. 11 Black-tailed Godwits were also in the area
Loch Stiapavat, Isle of Lewis
8 Black-tailed Godwits were seen around the loch
Balranald, North Uist
3 juvenile Black-tailed Godwits and 4 Greenshank were at Traigh nam Faoghailean this morning
Loch Paible, North Uist
A Glaucous Gull and the juvenile Curlew Sandpiper were there today
Ruhba Ardvule, South Uist
Counting period: 06:35 - 10:20
Weather: Wind SSW f6, mostly 8/8 cloud and dull with occasional showers. Temp 14C.
A near 4 hour seawatch this morning produced 5 Red-throated Divers (S), 1 Black-throated Diver (S), 2 Storm Petrels (S), 58 Fulmars (S), 1 Sooty Shearwater (S), 109 Manx Shearwaters (93S 16N), 346 Gannets (345S 1N), 2 Shag (N), 4 Kittiwake (3S 1N), 1 Arctic Tern (S), and 4 Great Skuas(3S 1N).
Also present in the area were Greylag Goose 56, Cormorant 5, Curlew 5, Raven 4 and Pied Wagtail 2
A Ruff and 12 Black-tailed Godwits were nearby on Bornish machair and a Woodpigeon was in Bornish township
