4 Lesser Black-backed Gulls (3 adults, 1 immature) were seen there briefly bathing early afternoon

Ruhba Ardvule, South Uist
Counting period: 09:35 - 11:30
Weather: Wind S f6 - gust f8, 8/8 low cloud, continual rainfall, murky out to sea. Temp 9C.
A 2 hour seawatch this morning produced 15 Eider (S), 4 Long-tailed Ducks (S), 10 Red-throated Divers (S), 14 Gannets (10S 4N), 5 Shag (1S 4N), 1 Cormorant (S), 4 Kittiwakes (S), 113 Common Gulls (S) and 7 Herring Gulls (S).
Also present in the area were Wigeon 42, Tufted Duck 15, Great Northern Diver 1, Cormorant 18, Purple Sandpiper 1, Common Gull 230, Great Black-backed Gull 8, Herring Gull 95, Merlin 1 and Peregrine 1
