North Uist: it was fairly quiet at Loch Paible this morning apart that is from at least 1,000 rather flighty and noisy Greylags. A leucistic Common Gull was again noted and a Lapland Bunting flew off uttering its distinctive call (a rattle followed by a softer teu note). This month is when most pass through.
