The very elusive Acrocephalus warbler that's been in my garden since 31 May finally gave a decent if brief view this morning around 06:15. It is a Blyth's reed as I had been suspecting. It's been singing off and on (often only very briefly or in sub-song) since it arrived but I've only heard it or seen it between 04:30 and 7:00!
