A Wood Sandpiper was present today. Also a Ruff and 27 Black-tailed Godwits

A male Velvet Scoter was off shore this morning
Ormiclate, South Uist
2 *Buff-breasted Sandpipers* still present this evening
Ruhba Ardvule, South Uist
a 3.5 hour seawatch this morning produced 1 Red-breasted Merganser (S), 12 Red-throated Divers (S), 3 Great Northern Divers (S), 70 Fulmars (68S 2N), 3 Sooty Shearwaters (S), 245 Manx Shearwaters (242S 3N), 215 Gannets (212S 3N), 43 Shag (15S 28N), 5 Whimbrel (S), 4 Kittiwakes (3S 1N), 1 *Sabine's Gull* (S - juvenile), 2 Arctic Terns (S), 1 Great Skua (S), 4 Guillemots (S), 12 Razorbills (11S 1N) and 7 auk sp (S). 3 red-throated Divers were also present in the area.
A Leach's Petrel, Sooty Shearwater and an Arctic Skua past the point between 17:15 - 18:00

Two lovely *Buff-breasted Sandpipers* were on the clifftop c500 yards W of the lighthouse this morning (10.00-10.45), when a low-flying Hoodie disturbed them and they flew off. A Common Swift was around the lighthouse for about an hour earlier this morning.
A Black-tailed Godwit and a Ruff were by Loch Stiapavat this afternoon.
